US Army awards Anduril enterprise contract for IT solutions

The US Army awarded Anduril a 10-year enterprise contract, valued at up to $20 billion, to simplify how the military buys and manages the company’s commercial technologies.

The agreement replaces more than 120 separate procurement actions with a single framework, a shift expected to cut administrative costs, eliminate subcontractor markups, and speed the delivery of software, hardware, data infrastructure, and support services to soldiers and other government users.

“This enterprise contract is a critical step in establishing a common framework for counter-UAS interoperability,” said Brig. Gen. Matt Ross, director of Joint Interagency Task Force 401. “It provides a foundational command and control capability. The Department of War and interagency partners now possess a clear path to a cohesive and operationally effective ecosystem that gives our warfighters the most advanced tools to defend the homeland.”

Army officials say the contract will also strengthen access to strategic, operational, and tactical capabilities through Anduril’s existing integration with hundreds of Joint and Army systems.
